Goodwood’s first fixture of 2017 will be an immersive showcase of the Estate, providing racegoers with the opportunity to experience some of the many sporting pursuits available, including motor sport, flying and golf. The racing will be as competitive as ever, with seven races providing the entertainment on track.

A FESTIVAL OF FOOD & RACING in Association with Great Taste
Thursday 25 – Saturday 27 May
The three-day Festival of Food and Racing will feature a Great Taste market, with award-winning, artisan producers and suppliers offering their finest fare. Organic produce from Goodwood Home Farm will be showcased on the East Parade Lawn, with chef’s demonstrations giving an insight into how to get the best from our pork, beef, lamb and cheeses. Gingerbread making and storytelling will ensure that the little ones are kept entertained too.

FAMILY RACE DAY in Association with the NSPCC
Sunday 11 June
A great family day out, which provides a fantastic opportunity to learn all about the ‘sport of kings.’ All ages are welcome to join tours of the jockey’s weighing room, walk the course, watch farrier demonstrations and meet a real racehorse. A traditional fairground and circus tent add to the entertainment, alongside an action-packed afternoon of horseracing. The Racecourse is supporting children’s charity the NSPCC throughout the afternoon, with various fundraising activities.

THREE FRIDAY NIGHTS - The ultimate South Coast party
Friday 2, 9 & 16 June
A unique combination of racing, music and dancing to create a truly unforgettable experience. Evening racing is followed by a full set from a world-famous DJ and a spectacular laser show, with previous acts including Mark Ronson, Basement Jaxx, Rudimental and Chase & Status. The 2017 acts will be announced shortly.
QATAR GOODWOOD FESTIVAL - ‘Glorious Goodwood’
Tuesday 1 – Saturday 5 August
This glamourous, world-famous five-day festival – popularly known as ‘Glorious Goodwood’ – is the season’s sporting and social highlight. Over 100,000 people flock to the world’s most beautiful racecourse to enjoy top class racing, including the £1million Qatar Sussex Stakes, the cavalry charge that is the Qatar Steward’s Cup and the marathon Qatar Goodwood Cup. Ladies’ Day features the Magnolia Cup charity race, in which 12 brave female riders charge down the turf sporting silks created for the occasion by leading fashion designers.
AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY - Family fun for all ages

On the Friday evening, racing is followed by fire performers and a breath-taking fireworks display set to music. Across the weekend, guests can look forward to superb racing, a mock beach front, traditional fairground rides, Punch and Judy shows and a host of other nostalgic attractions. The August Bank Holiday Weekend fixture has something for everyone and is held in the spirit of the great summer holidays of yesteryear.
MIDWEEK RACING - Thrilling Autumn racing
Tuesday 5 September & Wednesday 27 September
These balmy late-summer afternoons are an ideal escape during the working week, offering a chance to experience Goodwood in all its glory with the spectacular Sussex countryside as a fitting backdrop for keenly-contested racing. Midweek Racing fixtures are the ideal outings for those who enjoy their entertainment at a laid-back pace.
SEASON FINALE - Harvest, Hops & Horseracing
Sunday 15 October
Season Finale has a relaxed, laidback feel with the atmosphere of a harvest festival. Sample many different real ales and craft beers, while a fiddle-band plays merry tunes against a backdrop of roaring fire pits, roast chestnut stalls, hay bales and traditional hog roasts. Try your hand at archery or one of many other rural pursuits and crafts.

Children under 18-years-old go free to all Goodwood horseracing fixtures except the Three Friday Nights. Adult ticket prices start from just £10.
Entry to the Richmond Enclosure during the Qatar Goodwood Festival is exclusively for Goodwood Horseracing Club members and their guests only.
