Motorsport | Press Article 17/04/24

Goodwood is pleased to announce the themes and dates for the ever-popular Breakfast Club events taking place at Goodwood Motor Circuit throughout 2022:

1 May: Supercar Sunday
Starting the season with our most popular theme and some of the world’s most exciting cars. Supercar Sunday celebrates the best of automotive engineering – the supercars and hypercars of the world in all their beautiful, impractical and exotic glory.

5 June: Rule Britannia Sunday
What better way to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee than the best of British! Rule Britannia Sunday will welcome 70 years of the country’s finest engineering from the ground-breaking Mini and Jaguar E-type to the latest McLaren supercars.

24  July: Classic Car Sunday
Celebrating the heyday of motoring, Classic Car Sunday showcases a line-up of stunning classics from every era of motoring. With cars from pre-1982 now eligible the line-up is sure to have something for everyone and is just weeks before the Goodwood Revival.

2 October: Anything but the Car Sunday
Celebrating anything and everything but the car showcases the rest of the wonderful world of motoring. Expect an eclectic grid of all shapes, sizes and types of machines from motorbikes to tanks.

6 November: Vee-Power Sunday
Covering everything from Ducati 916s to heavy metal Americana, Vee-Power Sunday showcases some of the most sonorous and exhilarating machines the world has ever seen as we bring together anything with a ‘V’ under the bonnet. Yes, that’s right, anything from a Vee-Twin to a V12 is eligible for this Sunday celebration of banked cylinders.

Peter Best will be the Official Partner of the Goodwood Breakfast Club in 2022.

Sam Medcraft, Goodwood Motor Circuit General Manager added: “We are delighted to announce the 2022 Breakfast Club dates, including a brand new one-off theme to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, Rule Britannia Sunday, which aims to bring together an impressive collection of Britain’s finest motors from the last 70 years. It also wouldn’t be Breakfast Club without the favoured Supercar Sunday and Classic Car Sunday with some of the world’s most exciting cars on display. Goodwood Breakfast Club continues to be a wonderful family event that is completely free to enter. We look forward to welcoming you to Goodwood Motor Circuit for a great breakfast, great coffee and of course some great vehicles!”
