May Fixtures - Get ready for Glorious
The highly anticipated 2026 flat racing season at Goodwood Racecourse gets underway with Season Opener (1–2 May), the first opportunity to get into the summer garden party spirit. Get Glorious ready: as well as two thrilling days of horseracing at May Festival (22–23 May), it’s also the perfect chance to find outfit and styling inspiration ahead of our headline event, Qatar Goodwood Festival presented by Visit Qatar.
Three Friday Nights - Unforgettable evenings
Three Friday Nights is a unique combination of horseracing and live DJ sets. Following the conclusion of thrilling horseracing, the Parade Ring is transformed into an open‑air dance floor, hosting performances by internationally renowned DJs. Three Friday Nights (5, 12, 19 June) offers racegoers and music enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy summer evenings with horseracing followed by exceptional live entertainment. Details of the 2026 line-up will be announced in due course.
Qatar Goodwood Festival presented by Visit Qatar
The ultimate week watching the best horses on the track, exquisite garden party fashion and hospitality packages to suit all, Qatar Goodwood Festival presented by Visit Qatar (28 July to 1 August) is a highlight of the British horseracing season. This unmissable fixture offers five days of high-adrenaline horseracing. August Bank Holiday - Family days out
Make the most of the summer bank holiday weekend with fun for all the family. August Bank Holiday Racing (28–30 August) is an enchanting social occasion, offering world-class racing and a nostalgic summer atmosphere alongside Friday evening’s spectacular fireworks display. For an earlier chance to enjoy a day of racing over the Sussex Downs, Family Raceday (7 June) delivers superb family entertainment with traditional fairground rides, magical acts and live music.
Season Finale
Embracing the changing autumnal scenery, Season Finale (11 October) is the ideal October day out for family and friends, with its laid-back, country-style atmosphere. Toast marshmallows by the fire pits and catch a glimpse of next year’s racing prospects with two‑year‑old races and several handicaps. The first race of the day turns attention to the return of the jump season, as leading National Hunt jockeys take centre stage, and we celebrate another momentous flat racing season on Goodwood’s glorious track. Autumn Racing (8 & 23 September) also offers the perfect chance to treat yourself and friends to a competitive afternoon of action while soaking up the last of the summer sunshine.
