AssetClassic, the premier global classic car ecosystem, is to host and jointly curate “The Classics Forum 2025” at this year’s Goodwood Revival, along with Goodwood and McKinsey & Company as Knowledge Partner.
The Forum, to be held at Goodwood House on Thursday 11 September , will build on last year’s stellar guest list at “Tenuta di Roncolo”, hosting 150 key decision-makers, collectors and opinion leaders from around the world to discuss and collaboratively explore a way forward for the continued development of the classic car industry.
This year’s event will focus on exploring the key forces shaping the future of the classic car industry, including shifting collector preferences, increasing digital engagement, the expansion of experiential offerings, and emerging capabilities applied to classic vehicles. Proprietary research will also be presented, highlighting how heritage serves as a vital growth driver for luxury brands within the automotive sector and beyond. The event will feature a distinguished lineup of guests and speakers, to be announced in the coming weeks.
Camillo Mekacher Vogel, founding Partner of AssetClassic, stated: “Following the strong response to last year’s Forum in the heart of the Motor Valley, we’re taking the conversation to Goodwood Revival — a fitting stage for discussing the future of the classic car world. This year, our focus is on the intersection between the classic car sector and the broader luxury industry: from shifting consumer expectations to evolving models of ownership, brand strategy, and cultural relevance. We’re bringing together leading voices from both fields — collectors, investors, curators, and executives — to explore how these parallel worlds are increasingly connected, and what this means for the next generation of enthusiasts and stakeholders.”
The Duke of Richmond CBE DL, founder of the Goodwood Revival, said: “The inaugural Classics Forum was a huge success, bringing together passionate, like-minded collectors who care deeply about classic cars and have a vested interest in further shaping and expanding the sector. AssetClassic is the global ecosystem that knits everything together in a professional and productive way and it is very fitting that they are hosting the event at Goodwood ahead of this year’s Revival. It will provide the perfect backdrop for the event.”
Simon Middleton, Partner leading the Automotive sector in the UK for McKinsey & Company, stated: “Last year we launched our collaboration with AssetClassic and in 2025 we are excited to contribute to further scaling this flagship event at the intersection of the automotive, investor and luxury communities. We are looking forward to sharing our latest distinctive collectors’ and CEO insights and to providing a set of foundational perspectives at what is a highly disrupted yet pivotal time for the sector.”
“The Classics Forum 2025 – Goodwood Revival edition” will be held as an invitation-only event.
