Back by popular demand, award-winning Sussex eateries are set to return to the Double Trigger restaurant for the 2026 horseracing season at Goodwood Racecourse. Named in honour of the three-time Goodwood Cup winner Double Trigger, with the restaurant overlooking the Horse Walk.

Season Opener
Students at Chichester College will kick off the Double Trigger takeovers at Season Opener (1 May). Goodwood and Chichester College already partner throughout the year, with estate chefs providing mentoring and real time experience for students. Goodwood Racecourse is delighted to welcome local students and provide the team with experience of hosting guests on a busy raceday.

On the second day of Season Opener (2 May), Goodwood’s flagship restaurant, FarmerButcher, Chef, will be championing seasonal spring produce, creating mouth-watering dishes for guests to savour.

May Festival
After receiving outstanding reviews at last year’s Autumn Racing fixtures, Stone & Skillet will return to Double Trigger for May Festival (22 and 23 May). The celebrated wood-fired kitchen duo, Craig Holden and Pippa Grundy, will be serving a decadent menu using fresh and local ingredients.

Stone & Skillet Events Manager, Pippa Grundy, said: “We had the pleasure of joining the guest restaurants list at Goodwood Racecourse last year. The combination of sporting excellence, vibrant atmosphere and elegant setting makes for a wonderful experience, both for guests and our team. We’re thrilled to be returning for May Festival, contributing to what will no doubt be an unforgettable weekend at the racecourse.”

Three Friday Nights
Street food eatery The Ghost at The Feast is also returning for Three Friday Nights (5, 12 and 19 June). The Chichester food hall will showcase its diverse range of eateries, giving racegoers plenty of choice before they head out onto the dancefloor. Double Trigger Restaurant will be walk-in only for Three Friday Nights, with Gordon Enclosure guests able to access the restaurant after the last race of the day.

Qatar Goodwood Festival presented by Visit Qatar & August Bank Holiday Racing
Goodwood’s in-house team will welcome guests to Double Trigger throughout Qatar Goodwood Festival presented by Visit Qatar (28 July - 1 August), and August Bank Holiday racing (28 - 30 August).

Season Finale
Rounding off the flat racing season, Goodwood Art Foundation’s Café 24 will offer a menu celebrating seasonality, provenance and place at Season Finale (11 October). Café 24 opened at the Goodwood Art Foundation in 2025 and offers a small plates menu showcasing seasonal and foraged ingredients alongside organic produce from Goodwood’s Home Farm.
