The Daffodils are in bloom, the hay bales are being put in place and there’s one week to go until the 75th Members’ Meeting opens its gates on Saturday 18 March.
Goodwood is delighted to announce that David Coulthard, 13-time Grand Prix winner-turned F1 commentator will be joining the star-studded driver line-up set to wow the sell-out crowds at the two-day event. DC, as he is known to fans, will be driving a 1955 Mercedes 300 SL 417 on the Saturday of the event at midday. He will be a guest of the 75th Members’ Meeting Official Timing Partner IWC Schaffhausen.

Gerhard Berger, 10-time Grand Prix winner, driving a Ford Capri III 3.0S

Matt Neal, three-time BTCC champion, driving a Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Roberto Ravaglia, European and World Touring Car Champion, driving a Ford Capri 3.0S
Steve Soper, touring car legend, driving a Triumph Dolomite Sprint
Tom Kristensen, Nine-time Le Mans winner, driving a Rover 3500 SD1
Stig Blomqvist, 1984 World Rally champion, driving a Mini 1275 GT
Rob Huff, former World Touring Car champion, driving a Ford Capri III 3.0S
Goodwood Members’ Meeting House Captains Nicolas Minassian, Emanuele Pirro, Jochen Mass and Anthony Reid will once again be battling it out on the track for House Points for their respective Houses, Aubigny, Torbolton, Darnley and Methuen, wearing their finest tweed.
Off the track, Goodwood Road Racing Club members and their guests can take part in a range of activities including an air rifle range, jeep driving and ferret racing, while enjoying delicious food and drink ranging from slow-cooked Goodwood Estate Pork and Goodwood Ale to mac n’cheese and a good curry.
An open-to-all party culminating in spectacular fireworks will take place on the Saturday evening.

Founded by Lord March, to recreate the atmosphere and camaraderie of the original BARC Members’ Meetings held at Goodwood Motor Circuit in the 1950s and ‘60s, the Goodwood Members’ Meeting conjures up some of the most evocative sights and sounds from the golden era of motor racing, allowing intimate access to the cars and drivers.
The 2017 Members’ Meeting will feature 12 races in total over the two days of the event. Three of the most iconic periods in motorsport history will be celebrated with high-speed demonstration runs – 3-litre Sport Prototypes, with Italian exotica from Ferrari and Alfa Romeo, wailing V12 Matras and Cosworth DFV-engined Lolas, Mirages and more; Legends of GT1, including awesome machines from Porsche, Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari and Lister alongside the incomparable McLaren F1-GTRs and Group A Touring Cars spanning the whole Group A era, including early Rover SD1s, BMW 635CSIs, Volvo 240 Turbos, Jaguar XJSs, alongside later Ford Sierra RS500s and BMW M3s.
As well as the action on the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit, the Members’ Meeting will feature a huge range of attractions for all the family off-track, including a Bonham’s auction, an exclusive event on Saturday evening and a wide variety of food and entertainment, live music and a fairground, on offer throughout.
