E1, the world’s first and only all-electric raceboat championship, will be at FOS Future Lab presented by Randox exhibition at Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard next week.
Visitors to FOS Future Lab can discover what it takes to become an E1 pilot, step inside the E1 RaceBird simulator and experience head-to-head racing in some of the Championship’s iconic race locations, including Monaco and Miami.
E1 sees nine teams owned by some of the biggest names on the planet - including Will Smith, Rafael Nadal and LeBron James – race with male and female pilots.

On Thursday 10 July at midday, LAB E1 will host an E1 RaceBird Design Workshop with Asher Erskine, E1’s Head of Design.
At 4pm on Thursday, MISSION 44 will present a panel discussion featuring Sam Coleman, who races for 2024 Champions of the Water winning Team Brady, and fellow-Brit Catie Munnings, Team Alula championed by LeBron James pilot.
The discussion, entitled ‘Driving Change: Tackling Inequality in STEM and Speed,’ will focus on gender disparity in STEM and motorsport, exploring the challenges, barriers, and opportunities for greater inclusion.
This event will feature insights from those within motorsport, the perspectives of those at the beginning of their STEM journey, with a dialogue aimed at understanding the systemic issues and driving change toward gender equity in these traditionally male-dominated fields.
On Friday 11 July at 6pm, the E1 team will present Racing Redefined with Sam Coleman along with Sara Price, Westbrook Racing pilot and Ria Walia Head of Product alongside Peter De Vries, Chief Partnership Officer.
On Saturday 12 July at midday, the team will present an XH/E1 Alternative Formats Showcase featuring James Taylor, XH, Chief Championship Officer, Laurence Boyd, E1 Chief Content and Product Officer.
