Goodwood will pay tribute to its long-serving and incomparable maestro of the microphone Henry Hope-Frost at the 76th Members’ Meeting this weekend (March 17-18).
Henry tragically died in a road traffic accident on Thursday March 8, and since then overwhelming tributes have been pouring in from the entire motorsport community for the man who embodied everything that Goodwood’s motorsport events stand for.
The loudest homage possible to the man dubbed by many as the ‘Voice of Goodwood’ will take place shortly before Saturday’s Formula 5000 High-Speed Demonstration, as engines will fire up for a ‘Minute of Fever’, a word strongly associated with Henry and his passion-filled commentary.
Friends of Goodwood have created a run of stickers, in the iconic black & gold of Lotus liveries from yesteryear, featuring the HHF logo and #FEVER. These stickers will be available at the Members’ Meeting.
For those wishing to make a donation to the Hope-Frost family, a JustGiving page has been created and donations can be made at the following link: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/friendsofhenryhope-frost
