Fuel up: Goodwood food

Festival of Speed | Press Article 16/04/24

For Immediate Release: July 2018

Fine food and fast cars might not seem like natural bedfellows but at Goodwood they strike up a wonderful relationship. The food at the Festival of Speed is not only delicious and innovative, it is also largely sourced from Goodwood’s own organic farm or from local growers and artisan producers.

Goodwood’s catering team manages a variety of appetising food and hospitality offerings including the Porsche Café Le Mans and the Lamborghini Ristorante 1963.

Unlike any other motorsport venue in the world, the 12,000-acre estate that surrounds all the action on the Hillclimb is dedicated in one way or another to the production of fine food. Goodwood Home Farm is one of the largest lowland organic farms in Europe and its dairy herd was one of the first in the country to be 100% organically fed. The Estate produces award winning beef, pork, lamb, cheeses, lagers and ales.

The choices on offer will leave you in a tailspin. At Goodwood the mechanically minded can refuel with such a wide range of gourmet options at pitstops across the Estate that you will want to come back for more.
