Lamborghinis to the Fore in Cartier “Style et Luxe” Concours d’Elegance

The Lamborghini museum’s own 1971 Miura SV was crowned overall victor in this year’s Cartier “Style et Luxe” concours d’elegance contest. The original supercar wowed the judging team which included the likes of Apple chief design officer, Sir Jonathan Ive, and model David Gandy.
The Coach and no Horses class fell to Julien Slade’s 1898 Benz Velo, while the English Grace, American Pace category went to Paul Giovanni’s elegant 1967 AC428 fastback. The Alpha to Zeta prize for pioneering Lancias was awarded to Phillipe Coret’s Astura Pinin Farina Cabriolet ‘Bocca’, and Gandini’s Raging Bull honours went to Nick Gatehouses’ yellow 1975 Countach ‘Periscopo’.
Other category winners included Renault Classic (Alpine Pass and Present), Christophe Ringier (Vauxhall’s Said and Ton) and Peter Livarnos (The Fabulous Phantom).
