I wish to attend the Event at Goodwood Racecourse in 2026 for the purposes of carrying out media services. I understand, confirm and agree that: 

1. I will comply with all instructions and directions given by the organisers and any other representative of Goodwood at all times.
2. I am physically and mentally fit to carry out the media services and I will inform the organisers immediately should any change in my condition occur which I have reason or ought to have reason to believe would affect my ability to carry out the services.
3. I will not participate whilst under the influence of alcohol, drugs (prescribed or otherwise) or substances which may impair my ability to safely carry out the services.
4. I acknowledge the nature and type of the Event and that while undertaking the services I may be exposed to potential risk inherent in the activities carried out at the Event and I will undertake activities with its associated risk with due and proper regard for my safety and that of others.
5. I acknowledge and agree that, for reasons of health and safety, the Event organisers (or their authorised representatives) may, at their sole discretion, require me to immediately cease any activity or use of equipment, and/or relocate to another designated area.
6. I shall ensure that no equipment, cameras, or related apparatus are positioned in a manner that obstructs the view of racecourse stewards, marshals, or Event officials, or that may cause distress or distraction to horses.
7. If I intend to use a tracking camera, I shall first obtain Goodwood’s prior written approval. I further agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions issued by Goodwood regarding such use. I acknowledge that failure to obtain approval or comply with these requirements may result in immediate revocation of permission and removal from the premises.
8. I acknowledge and agree that as an accredited media services provider I shall be subject to Goodwood’s terms and conditions of entry as set out in the Goodwood Ticketing Terms and Conditions goodwood-ticketing-tcs-nov.pdf
9. I understand that accreditation does not automatically entitle me to access to the Winner’s Enclosure or the Parade Ring.
10. I acknowledge and agree that Goodwood reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw my accreditation and remove me from the Event without liability or compensation if I fail to comply with any instructions, directions, or these terms and conditions, or if my conduct poses or is reasonably deemed to pose a risk to health, safety, or security. I further agree that such decisions shall be final and binding.
11. I understand that I am not licensed or permitted to use a video camera/phone for commercial purposes other than the services on any part of the Goodwood Estate without prior permission.
12. I confirm that I will not use the material created by me in carrying out the services for any commercial purpose other than for the publication/outlet I have been commissioned by.
13. I understand that drones may not be operated at or around Goodwood Racecourse or any other area of the Goodwood Estate without prior written consent from the Goodwood Aviation department and the Goodwood Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and any drones found to be operating without permission will be
14. I shall not shall film, record, or engage in any activity within the Goodwood Racecourse track or any designated restricted areas, including, without limitation, the weighing room, stables, judges’ box, and starting area, without obtaining prior written consent from Goodwood including the RMG. Any unauthorised filming or activity in these areas is strictly prohibited.
15. I acknowledge that I may not use any communication device whilst at Goodwood Racecourse to communicate with anyone outside Goodwood Racecourse for the purpose of or in connection with any betting. 
16. I shall have adequate insurance in place to cover the liabilities arising from the provision of the services including all third parties who suffer death, injury, damage or loss as a result of the provision of the services and provide evidence of such insurance to Goodwood immediately on request.
17. At any time, I shall upon request by Goodwood promptly remove and delete any materials uploaded to social media, posted by or on behalf of me in connection with the services from any and all platforms and social media handles and all reference and associations with Goodwood, if deemed inappropriate by the Event organisers. 
18. I shall not post in any media including but not limited to social or digital media or publish any printed material in relation to any accident or incident which occurs at the Event (whether on or off the racecourse) that has occurred on Goodwood property without the prior written approval of Goodwood.
19. I understand that any individual accreditation and car park labels issued are strictly personal to the recipient and are non-transferable. Any attempt to transfer, assign or misuse such accreditation or labels may result in immediate withdrawal of the accreditation and associated privileges.
20. I shall not, whether directly or indirectly, assist, enable, or permit any third party to breach any Goodwood Racecourse terms and conditions, ticketing terms and conditions, or these media accreditation terms and conditions. I further agree not to facilitate or assist any unauthorised individual or entity in obtaining access to Goodwood Racecourse or any restricted areas therein.
21. I understand that I shall be liable for any loss or liability suffered by Goodwood as a result of my error, default, breach, act or omission. I shall indemnify and hold harmless Goodwood against all claims, liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation) and all interest, penalties and legal costs and all other professional costs and expenses suffered or incurred by Goodwood arising out of or in connection with my error, default, breach, act or omission.
22. I agree that Goodwood shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claims, costs, expenses, injury or demands suffered directly or indirectly by me as a consequence of my participation in the Event (excluding Goodwood’s liability for personal injury or death caused by its own negligence).
23. I shall not undertake any action or engage in any deceptive, misleading, unethical, illegal or other practices which may injure, damage or bring into disrepute the public reputation, name or image of Goodwood or the Event.
24. I acknowledge that at such events photographs and moving images may be taken by Goodwood or by others acting on Goodwood’s behalf as well as by other members of the public and that my image may be included either deliberately or accidentally in such photographs and moving images. By carrying out the media services and attending the Event I hereby release and assign to Goodwood permission to license all images, whether still or moving, and to use such images, as well as any associated sound recordings, in any media for any purpose which may include, amongst others, reporting, advertising, promotion, marketing and publicity for any product, service or future event. I agree that any images may be combined with other images, graphics or text (including my name), cropped, edited altered or modified. I further agree that Goodwood will have all rights to such images and associated sound recordings in perpetuity and that Goodwood is not liable for any further payment, consideration, accounting or further claim for any reason.
