Rudimental sells out in record time for Goodwood’s Three Friday Nights

Horse Racing | Press Article 16/04/24

Goodwood Racecourse’s Three Friday Nights fixture on 1 June was sold out in record time, with general admission tickets gone in less than three weeks. The evening will feature a DJ set from Rudimental, the first act in the event’s eight-year history to return, who have once again proven their immense popularity.

For those wanting to attend the event who have not purchased a general admission ticket, it is still possible to enjoy the night by purchasing a hospitality or restaurant package – though these are also selling fast. Limited availability remains in the beautiful Charlton Hunt restaurant, which has panoramic views across the Racecourse and offers a quintessentially English four-course menu and afternoon tea. Limited packages also remain for the Horsewalk restaurant, which features a three-course menu with an emphasis on locally-sourced produce, including Goodwood Estate beef, pork and lamb. Prices start at £110 for a Three Friday Nights restaurant & ticket package.

General admission tickets remain for the fixtures on Friday 8 and Friday 15 June, when Example + DJ Wire and Steve Aoki will perform respectively. With a UK number one album, two UK number one singles and a BRIT Award nomination among his many achievements to date, Example has become a household name across Britain, Europe and the US. The Londoner has sold-out tours around the world and is known as one of the best live acts in the business, performing huge hits such as ‘Changed the way you kissed me’ and ‘Kickstarts.’ The Goodwood crowd can expect an explosive set of epic dance anthems.

Consistently featured as one of the top DJs in the world (No.9 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2017), Steve Aoki is an unstoppable force in the electronic dance world. Grammy-nominated and voted ‘Best DJ in America’ in 2015, Aoki has become globally renowned for his incredible headline performances at music festivals worldwide. He has collaborated with the likes of Will. I. Am., Louis Tomlinson, Linkin Park and Iggy Azalea and he has remixed the works of Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Drake, The Killers and Snoop Dogg. He has also just made waves for being the first DJ to play a gig in zero gravity.

Goodwood’s Three Friday Nights have become renowned locally as some of the most exciting events on the south coast, with the DJ sets taking place after an evening of horseracing. After the last race has been run and the sun sets, the Parade Ring transforms into a laser-lit dancefloor as the atmosphere is ignited for three truly unforgettable nights.

Adult general admission tickets for Example + DJ Wire and Steve Aoki start from £35, with Juniors (13-17) starting from £26.25. Hospitality packages start from £99.

Charlton Hunt packages for Rudimental are priced at £176, with concessions for 13 to 17-year olds and children. Packages for the Horsewalk restaurant for Rudimental are priced at £110, with concessions for children. All tickets and hospitality packages can be purchased at or by calling 01243 755055.
