- Goodwood to host a spectacular collection of MG Bs for this year's Lavant Cup at Revival.
With just over a month to go until the Goodwood Revival (Friday 16 - Sunday 18 September), we are delighted to announce that the grid for the Lavant Cup will be entirely made up of MG Bs. The Lavant Cup makes for fantastic viewing and has taken many formats over the years. Previous iterations have seen hotly-contested battles in an all-Ferrari race, as well as a fiesta of Ford GT40s.
This year the Lavant Cup will welcome one of the most popular classic cars of all time: the MG B, as 30 of these timeless classics take to the grid in a state of near-constant drift. The collection of fabulous cars includes those that have raced on the world stage, including at Le Mans, Sebring, Monza, Spa and been driven by the likes of Sir Stirling Moss, John Fitzpatrick and Alec Poole.

About the Goodwood Revival
The Goodwood Revival is the world’s greatest historic motor race meeting, and the only sporting event of its kind to be staged entirely in a period theme. More than just an unrivalled weekend of historic racing, it is an immersive celebration of a less disposable world, where “make do and mend” was a way of life rather than a casual slogan.
The Revival is, at its heart, a celebration of craftsmanship and sustainability, from an age when possessions were made to last and be cherished.
