Goodwood Revival | Press Article 11/09/25

Wheely, the Swiss-founded British on-demand chauffeur company, is proud to be the Official Chauffeur Partner to Goodwood Revival, the world’s greatest historic motorsport event, which begins tomorrow (Friday) and runs from 12-14 September.

Wheely has signed a two-year partnership to provide an exclusive Revival-themed drop-off and pick-up area, along with a private customer lounge at the motor circuit - offering guests the most direct and seamless arrival experience to date.

Goodwood visitors travelling with Wheely can enjoy special fixed-rate  journeys to and from London, choosing from Wheely’s distinguished fleet: immaculate Mercedes-Benz E, S and V-Class models, BMW 5-Series and the Range Rover Long Wheelbase 4x4, which is available exclusively to Wheely members. All vehicles feature thoughtful in-car amenities. Goodwood hospitality guests travelling from London can also enjoy a fixed-rate service and exclusive offers.

Wheely, recognised in major cities around the world as the go-to choice for refined travel, will also undertake all of Goodwood’s corporate travel requirements through the event week, deploying a large fleet of vehicles. Booking will be available both on-demand and in advance via the Wheely app on iOS and Android.

Laura Penfold, Wheely Head of Partnerships, said: “We are proud to partner with Goodwood Revival and be part of the iconic and historic event. Goodwood guests travelling with Wheely, whether booking a single journey or our Chauffeur For a Day service, can enjoy an elegant and effortless way to attend one of the highlights of the British social season.”

Stephen Winton, Partnership Sales Director at Goodwood, said: “Wheely’s cutting-edge technology and traditional standards of service align with Goodwood’s values and we are delighted to partner with them for Revival. The chauffeurs provide exceptional customer experience and magnificent cars, something that is at the heart of what we do at Goodwood.”

Goodwood Revival is an immersive celebration of iconic cars and fashion that celebrates the golden age of motor racing from 1948 to 1966. It is the only historic race meeting to be staged entirely in a period theme.

As well as racing, the event features demonstrations of iconic cars and motorcycles, and a lively atmosphere with period-correct music, dancing, and flypasts of historic aircraft, all contributing to the ultimate immersive experience. In recent years, the event has brought together the modern Revive & Thrive community to drive Revival forward, inspiring creative ways to rethink, repair and repurpose items for future use.

Wheely was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in London with operations in major cities including Paris and Dubai. Clients can book on demand or schedule services in advance through its intuitive best-in-class app. Through modern engineering and design, paired with its commitment to excellence and attention to detail, Wheely strives to set industry standards for service, safety, etiquette and discretion.

About the Goodwood Revival
The Goodwood Revival is the world’s greatest historic motor race meeting, and the only sporting event of its kind to be staged entirely in a period theme. More than just an unrivalled weekend of historic racing, it is an immersive celebration of vintage lifestyle, championing exceptional craftsmanship and the enduringly fabulous stories told by second-hand treasures. ‘Revive & Thrive’ is the thoroughly modern message woven through the Revival landscape; a clever stitch with which the old is made new again, it runs through every carefully restored classic car, each beautifully preserved piece of clothing as it is passed from one generation to the next. It is, proudly, the world’s biggest and most glamorous second-hand event.
